Songs for Nursing Home gig 25th May

Hi Warren
So.. we need about 6 of our songs plus say 3 singalong songs that the oldies will know and like.

First draft of repertoire for upcoming performance is...

  3. If you miss me fm singing OR Glad to be in the service

  5. Sin Nje Nje Nje OR Adjiman
  6. Maria or Tangi Sina
Sing-a-long list suggestions so far:

  • I've got a lovely bunch of coconuts
  • Elvis - Love me tender, Wise men say
  • Beatles - When I'm Sixty Four, Let it be
  • Dean Martin - Memories are made of this
  • Australian - eg Road to Gundagai, Waltzing Matilda,
  • Show tunes -If I were a rich man, Hello Dolly, Wouldnt it be loverly, Somewhere over the rainbow, Edelweiss, Moon River

I am embarrassed to say that I have words & music for over 70 of these golden oldies, including moon River, hello Dolly and also 'Impossible Dream' (my fave)

I will bring them to choir this week.
